Leicester fans despise Howard, and i've heard rumours Oakley will retire and concentrate on his House development business! SHAME!

i feel sorry for them becs i liked both of them, its a wonder they dont move on to other clubs again I have no sympathy - both engineered their own moves, both made to play in Division 3. Both too old to get another move i reckon, and both havent exactly made an impact at leicester - the fans dont rate either of them. £1.5+ million banked on that pair - thanks very much!

Both wanted away when Billy left, so i'm going to laugh at both of them - from Championship to Premier League and down to league 1 in a year! Good work! ;D

Its a close call with Andy King, and possibly Fryatt, but for me, Steve Howard has been player of the season for Leicester in what has obviously been an excellent season for the club with several strong contenders.
Quite a turnaround from last season when he was being subbed after an hour to boos, chants and jeers. I'm delighted he's turned it around. A league lower I know, but the understanding he has with Fryatt is terrific - I can't comprehend how many of Fryatt's 30ish goals he has played an integral part in. The unsing work he puts in for the team under Pearson's stewardship is great to see.
He's been the model team player this year. Not a huge haul of goals, but he's chipped in with a decent number, many at critically important moments in very important matches. His overall contribution to the team though has been vital, winning almost every header, linking up with Fryatt, holding the ball up and playing through midfielders.
great stuff. Well done Steve.
