Well safety first, especially in this era of biological warfare...

Shouldn't that really just consist of some dried food, some water, two pistols and a shit-load of ammo? ;D

And keep various amounts of different sport clubs/bats in the house as well, you may never use them but it's better to be safe than sorry...

Twin desert eagles would be good - two magnums would be pretty useful too, if you can contain enough of the recoil with one hand. Shotguns are good at short range, but unless you're using slugs I wouldn't fancy them over too long a range. They're also not that great for aiming, and have a much lower firing rate, hence the two pistols. I suppose one of those anti-infantry weapons that loose off a million rounds in about 1-2 seconds would be good too, though they're quite hard to get hold of! ;D (For those who don't have a clue what that is, imagine a grid of bullets 100 across and 100 down. Now stack 100 of them in a line, one behind the other, and fire them all off nearly simultaneously with an electric charge. BOOM! ;D)

Those grid weapons are being mounted on the next gen US Aegis frigates you know bigger than that obviously but they look cool.

Ah yes, good call on the M16, though I think it'd have to be part of the deluxe survival kit. Flamethrowers are surprisingly effective actually, and I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking of them! ;D Burn, you little bastards! I can just picture it now... Terrorist Army: *lines up on the shores of Iraq, ready to launch an assault on the naval forces in the gulf* Lone Frigate: *sails up close to shore* Terrorist Army: Ha! Go on, fire your shells! You can never take out all of us! You're doomed! Lone Frigate: *opens hatch on deck* Terrorist Army: ...? Lone Frigate: *large grid rises up from deck* Terrorist Army: ... *vague feeling of unease* Lone Frigate: ;D * BOOM!* Terrorist Army: *mush*
