Stockport have signed Blackpool defender Paul Tierney on a six-month loan deal.
The 24-year-old's first team opportunities at Blackpool were limited, and his signing end boss Jim Gannon's search for a left-back.
Tierney joined Blackpool from Livingston last summer, but made just 13 appearances last season.
Gannon told Stockport's website: "He's a proper, orthodox, left-sided defender who is itching to play."
Tierney, who is a former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, is under contract at Bloomfield Road until next summer, with an option of a further year.
