Mansfield Town chairman Peter Lee has left the club. Lee only took up his duties with the Stags from 15 June 2006 when he replaced Keith Haslam, who became managing director at Field Mill.
Haslam stated that the part-time job which was meant to limited to one day a week had become too much for him.
A former civil servant, Lee last year retired from his position as chief executive of the Football Foundation and Football Stadia Improvement Fund.
