Mansfield 1-1 Stockport Former Stockport winger Matt Hamshaw denied his old team victory with a late equaliser for Mansfield at Field Mill. Hamshaw weaved his way into the box to fire home, and almost snatched a late winner when his drive struck the post.
Stockport took a first-half lead when Glenn Murray headed Ashley Williams' free-kick back across goal for Keith Briggs to nod home.
County might have added to their first goal of the season when Tony Dinning's free-kick was deflected narrowly over.
