Wrexham 3-0 Grimsby Wrexham eased to their first win of the season by trouncing Grimsby at home. Steve Evans saw a header cleared off the line early on, but he put Wrexham ahead with another header on 16 minutes from a Darren Ferguson cross.
Home goalkeeper Michael Ingham nearly gifted Grimsby an equaliser, but Chris Llewellyn's long-range header from a Ferguson cross doubled the lead.
Llewellyn's brilliant run then led to Matty Done's 68th-minute strike which end the game as a contest.
