Peterborough 4-1 Bristol Rovers A storming first-half display by Peterborough blew away Bristol Rovers. Posh went ahead from Jamie Day's fierce shot into the roof of the net on eight minutes and it was 3-0 by the break.
Richard Butcher brushed aside the visiting defence before a cool finish and Simon Yeo bundled the ball in from close range after 35 minutes.
With the game all but up Rovers pulled one back from Sammy Igoe, but Lloyd Opara wormed his way through a crowded penalty area to make it four for Posh.
