How do I cut and paste on a laptop that doesn't use a mouse, I am so used to dragging the mouse across text and highlighting that way.
This probably sounds like a really stupid question, but would appreciate your help.

Ctrl + C to copy and Ctrl + V to paste. And to highlight a load of text Ctrl + A is quite handy too.

To highlight using the cursor, hold [shift] while using left or right cursor. To move by the word instead of by the character, hold [ctrl] while using cursor. Then, as Han says, [Ctrl+C] and [Ctrl+V].

Does your touchpad not function in the same way as a mouse, Mozza? ie. hold and press the left button to highlight the text, then right click to copy it?
