I was thinking through the record of how my football team has done in matches I have been to last year. So how does your 2006 record compare.
For me, I went to 10 Leicester games in 2006 of which they were all league games, 7 were at home and 3 were away. My shockingly poor record is won 2, drew 3, lost 5 (including all 3 away games). My team scored a total of 8 goals in the 10 games, and failed to score in a total of 5 games. The biggest attendance was Leicester v Barnsley at 30,457 and the smallest Leicester v Hull with 18,677.
Won: Leicester 2 Crystal Palace 0 Leicester 2 Barnsley 0
Drew: Leicester 1 Reading 1 Leicester 2 Plymouth Argyle 2 Leicester 0 Cardiff 0
Lost: Sheffield Wednesday 2 Leicester 1 Ipswich Town 2 Leicester 0 Leicester 0 Burnley 1 Leicester 0 Hull 1 Southampton 2 Leicester 0
So a pretty crap 2006, and unfortunately the team was not much better in games I didn't go to.
Other matches not involving Leicester
Melbourne Victory 3 Sydney FC 2 approx 40,000. Plymouth Argyle 3 Norwich City 1 approx 13-14000.
Well heres to a better 2007 starting today with Sunderland at home!!

But given your high league position this year and highish one last year; and that almost all games are at home, I guess you may expect a couple of the losses to be draws or wins. I dunno, not bad though!

11 games is a bit poor for me, I had a season ticket but obviously I can only put down the matches snce January. I've just not really had a lot of time this season so far but I am going to get to one home game a month from now, plus Bradford away. Swansea away in a couple of weeks, I'd like to see the stadium so will maybe try to get to that if my mates are up for it.
The home games under Megson were dire, the Barnsley game was probably the biggest nadir I've witnessed in years, I really thought we would end up in League Two playing Notts Mansfield and Lincoln, but the games under Charlie and Frank were a joy to watch, especially the 7 - 1.

Yeah I know what you mean. I had a couple of season tickets a few years back but since going to university I can only really go in the holidays unless they are playing away from home near me. And even then I was working most Saturdays during vacations to get some money so couldn't make most games. So 10 a season was probably about average for me. But hopefully 200 will be more like 15-20 as I no longer have my Saturday job! Going to the game today, maybe Fulham next week but its not particularly inspiring and far too overpriced. Then Ipswich away in Feb and nothing then til Easter. Swansea and Bradford- both decent grounds so worthwhile making a trip to both I'd say. Yeah they were bad under Megson, feels like ages ago since he was in charge now!! Still at least Colin seems to have put you on the right track. I'm not sure about Rob Kelly - decent guy and generally you can't fault the players commitment for him (except Saturday ) but some of his tactical decisions are really poor and the style of play is none too exciting, even at home.

I can't remember how many Ipswich home games I went to, but I went to one away game... (Luton) Biggest win: 5-0 at home over Luton Biggest loss: 5-1 at home to West Brom Biggest crowd: I guess the East Anglian Derby in November, but I can't even remember that attendance That's about it really. I've only missed a few Town games at home (you can count them on one hand really), through illness, homework and coursework.

Valley Parades a good ground but the City fans are quiet. Normally a very poor atmosphere.

Valley Parades a good ground but the City fans are quiet. Normally a very poor atmosphere. We took 6,000 thousand there on the last day of the season (admittedly it was our last chance to get in the playoffs) and I remember thinking that was nearly as much as they got at home! Am I right in thinking they expanded the ground thinking they would stay in the Premiership and that's why it's far too big for requirements? (Notts County did the same)

(Notts County did the same) yeah they slapped an extra tier on two of their stands. Should have spent it on players. I got to go in a box there when they opened them because my mum worked at the planning department in bradford Do they still open them up for matches or are they closed?

due to my unfortunate northern location, and the southerness of my football team - without going into the horrible nightmare that is booking away games via the seagulls line - i've only made it to a couple of games this year. i've actually been to more PNE matches than albion. that's upsetting.
went to a home match last season (i was in sussex in march) but i forget who, went to millmoor this season, we won 1-0 in a piss poor game!
