O'Driscoll hails 'excellent' win
O'Driscoll feels his side were good value for their win Bournemouth manager Sean O'Driscoll felt their first win of the season was well deserved, as they overcame Cheltenham Town 2-1 at Dean Court. "We played some excellent football, dug in and showed our character in a difficult situation," O'Driscoll said.
"Cheltenham had to gamble and put four men forward, and we had to battle but we deserved the win through the commitment and attitude we showed.
"Although everyone got a bit edgy towards the end, they did their jobs."
Former vice-chairman Andrew Kaye is standing down from Bournemouth's board after nearly a decade as a director. Kaye was one of the original members of the fans' trust fund which saved the south coast club in 1997 after it had gone into receivership.
