What with the East London line closed, what's the best tube stop to go to. I reckon it would be Canada Water with a 1/2 hour walk?
Any local knowledge would be gratefully received.

You could go London Bridge british rail change Y go to South Bermondsey a five minute walk from there.

Cheers MrMillwall, I'll look into that, though coming from Southend it still may be quicker changing at West Ham onto the jubilee line rather than going all the way up to Fenchurch Street.

I would've thought it would be a pain in the arse trying to find the ground from any of the tube stations. It's not very well sign posted and normally the locals don't speak much English so you wouldn't get far asking them!
Personally, I would do the option MrMillwall said. Away fans get there own walk way from South Bermondsey so it would also be the safest route.

I have google maps on my phone, so directions won't be a problem, but guys, thanks for the advice.
Cheers.
