Rams accept Millwall's Smith bid Smith started five league games for Derby last season Derby have accepted a bid of around £150,000 from Millwall for winger Ryan Smith, reports BBC Radio Derby. Smith had a six-game loan spell with the Lions in the spring, and they now want to make the move permanent.
The 20-year-old moved to Pride Park last summer, joining for an undisclosed fee from Arsenal - where he had failed to make a league appearance.
However, he only started five league games for Derby last season as they won promotion to the Premiership.

He's DEFINATELY 1 for the future Never really got a chance at Derby, but I would have liked to have kept him I think he's a bit lightweight though, gets knocked off the ball too easily

He knows us, and we stand a good chance of promotion this season. So that or a struggle with QPR. Millwall you know it makes sense!

Perhaps he will be like Andy Cole with Forest and the like. Let him go and he ends up being a star.
