Striker Kevin Braniff said his farewells to colleagues at The Den on Tuesday after his contract had been terminated by mutual consent. The Irishman exploded onto the scene with a goal on his debut in a League Cup tie at Brighton in August 2000, and went on to make 36 first team starts with another 38 appearances as substitute over the next six years, scoring five times. Whilst he was a regular member of the squad under a succession of Millwall managers, he never quite managed to become a first team regular and had a couple of spells on loan at Rushden and Diamonds and Canvey Island. Kevin now intends to return to Northern Ireland for the Christmas period before attempting to kick-start his career elsewhere in the New Year. Everyone at Millwall wishes Kevin all the very best for the future.

So long then, Kev, it’s been fun, But it’s time for you to go. And as we look back upon your career, What have you got to show? Six years and thirty-six starts And nearly forty as a sub, Is the total sum of your bit parts, For your one and only club. And in all that time you only scored five, And that, my friend is pretty poor, But take with you this bit of praise, At least you passed better than Livermore.

Shame Charlton won, we're bottom now Zokora stuck his nose in where it didnt concern him to be honest GB. It was Lennon's argument really, he gave Boateng a little shove but walked away and Zokora steamed in for some reason. He and Boateng both got the red card, all seemed handbags stuff from what Ive seen on the highlights. Anyway, my bed is calling......night

load of shite yesterday!
Millwall 0-0 Huddersfield Ben May missed a host of chances as Millwall were held by Huddersfield. The visitors' only real chance came in the 35th minute but Gary Taylor-Fletcher's shot lacked the power to beat goalkeeper Lenny Pidgeley.
The Lions started the second-half brightly and May turned Martin McIntosh in the box but then pulled his shot wide of the far post from six yards.
May was off target again in the 65th minute before Darren Byfield had a shot cleared off the line.
