Hello folks - friendly drunk from Plymouth Argyle here, just wandered in to say "hello," and to ask: "just what the buggery-bollix is going on" at Millwall? I'm sure that a lot of real football supporters from other clubs (ie old gits, like me)are genuinely mystified and saddened by the recent decline suffered by your good selves. You always sing: "no one likes us, we don't care," and while that may be largely true(!) a lot of people still have a certain "admiration" for Millwall FC - whether you like it or not!
I think it' s just down to the fact that your club is percieved as the last bastion (certainly in London) in the struggle against the "gentrification" of football - the people Mr Roy Keane famously called the "prawn sandwich" brigade. Millwall may not always endear themselves to anyone else but you've become football's version of the Ravens in the Tower.... as long as you're still here, the trendies and armchair supporters haven't managed to suck the life out of the game, and it's still alive and "ours."
Ok, I'm rambling like a mad old man who smells of wee, so I'll shut up and get out of your message board, now. Hope that things get better for your club soon. All the best - Pasty.
