Never in my fucking life have I witnessed such a disgraceful performance. I've had enough of this 'need time to gel' crap...A 5-1 defeat to chesterfuckingfield is not acceptable. I am seriously lost for words after watching todays performance. I was so so tempted to run over to spackman once that fifth goal went in!
Fair play to Chesterfield, they took their chances well and fully deserved the win.
Only good point was the fact that I am one of few Millwall fans to see Braniff score a goal...It certainly brought a little smile to my face!
I'm still fucking depressed though.

must say I am lost for word, glad I didn't make the trip. I sincerely hope they sort themselves out, because I can't take another season of crap!
I will reserve judgement after 10 games

Well...I was right down the front shouting abuse at the team...went mental when that 5th goal went in.
So yeah, I was one of them!
I saw MrMillwall going mental at the players at half time (rightly so!)

It did look shocking, but Chesterfield always seem to do well at start of season then fade away, you will probs beat them at your place

Well...I was right down the front shouting abuse at the team...went mental when that 5th goal went in. So yeah, I was one of them! I saw MrMillwall going mental at the players at half time (rightly so!) Fucking right aswell get some sweat on them shirts the wankers!! Mizen was you pointing at me before the game??? My mate got excited an was shouting over were fucking millwall lol. Anyway back to yesterdays debacle, until we can compete against the teams were playing we will keep on losing games. At the moment were being outfought, outworked and over run. We need a big meathead centrehalf and two central midfielders who will run and fight all 90 minutes. Its league 1 football or in old money division 3. Wether we like it or not its bollock and bite football. Where games will be won and lost in many cases on work rate, fitness and stamina alone. I don't wish to sound out individuals at Millwall because im always 100% behind whoever pulls the shirt on. But the performances given (if you can call them that) by Zak Whitbread, Derek Mcinnes & Marvin Elliot in particular were simply shocking from where i was sitting. Whitbread must have had some ability to earn his 1st professional contract while at Liverpool. When he was on loan last season he had some good games & some poor ones. I was thinking that this season would be the making of him. If anything hes gone backwards at an alarming rate. He cant run jump, or make a decision at the moment and Spackman did him a favor when he took him off. Although he could have done us a favor by not starting him at all. Three of the goals were down to Whitbread and i know its strong but ive had a day to think about it. But he should never pull the shirt of Millwall on again as hes a liability. Mcinnes looked great in the slower paced pre season friendlies. And i thought he would be the answer to our midfield problems of last season. At 35 in the games ive seen him play he has been over run on a regular basis. I can only see this getting worse as he loses confidence with every miss placed pass. Blaming all & sundry for your failure to find a player with a 5 yard pass and then bawl the player out for not getting to the ball, will not keep you in favor with Millwall fans for long. As for Marvin Elliott If hes to good for league 1 then i should be getting a regular game for Chelsea!! How his agent and Marvin believe hes to good for Millwall is just fucking beyond me. How many times did he play a ball without looking?? How many tackles did he win?? How much desire did he show to get back and help a creaking defence?? In fact the only two players that started who can escape a blast from me are Tom Brighton and Marvin Williams who despite getting battered. Did at the very least put in a hard shift and got sweat on the shirt. Funny as ive been writing this ive got more and more pissed off. All millwall fans want is a team that will put in & honest shift and sweat a bit for the Shirt. The only other players id give a bit of praise to would be Paul Robinson who showed Whitbread that you have to attack the ball as a centre half. And the much maligned Kevin Braniff who took his goal really well. Lets not hope its another 3 years before he finds the net. The shit football apart i had a good drink in a pub called the industry. Where i got chatting to some lads from Wakefield who are Millwall fans, top lads they were.

I don't think I was pointing at you (I may off without realising!). I was standing dead in the middle.
I walked into the Industry at about 1:30ish but didn't really get much further than the door as it was filling up quite a bit and it would have taken ages to get a drink so I didn't bother!
Totally agree with everything you have said. We just seem too weak at the moment. I don't think Marvin Williams is as good as everyone makes out but at least he gives his all. He seemed to be the only player interested. It's a shame all the other players don't have his attitude.

AKA Williams thats right Mizen he may not be the best, but hes more than willing to do the ugly side of the game. Which far to many decided to ignore yesterday. He has some ability and needs to keep on trying to improve. If he does he might be one of the lucky ones who hit the big time. Right now his 1st touch is not great but at 19 (yesterday what a present) he has ample time to make his way in the game.
