Ferocious tackle he should be facing a 3 game ban minimally. He could have easily broken both his legs!

Neil Cox?
You mean Neil Young, of Bournemouth. Cox plays for Crewe.

I can stop wincing then, the thought of a two footed stomp on Cox was too much for me

Not been on for a while so apologies for dragging this issue up again but I thought I'd let everyone know that most City fans think he's a prize tit for making the challenge too. All I can say is it's lucky he didn't cause too much damage. Last thing we could use at the moment is a lawsuit being filed against us, fookin' skint we are. But he's just got his new 4 year contract and he won't mind getting some paid time off before Xmas, even though he knows he's the only one in the team who can score for us at the moment.... like I say, what a tit.

Whats happened to your attendances btw? 4500 on Friday night! Kingslynn got a higher attendance! Many factors mate! We're crap at the moment, we haven't scored in 283 minutes I think, half of our team is injured, suspended or cup tied, it was £15 for adults so considering our recent shit form people decided the money was better spent elsewhere, it was Friday night game, it was against Millwall who are hardly gonna draw the crowds in, plus the Cup means bugger all now to us because we're such perrenial underachievers in it. Not been past the second round in anything since we got down here, that includes the LDV as well. I was there but in all honesty I wish I'd stayed at home, it was truly dire. Can't see where our next win is coming from at the moment.

Not looking good for Yorkshire football at the moment is it! It's strange how you've gone from doing great to what you are now. Have you seen the Bradford City version of Leeds' history?

Not looking good for Yorkshire football at the moment is it! It's strange how you've gone from doing great to what you are now. Have you seen the Bradford City version of Leeds' history? Problem seems to be a lack of a decent management team and a wafer thin squad for us. It doesn't help when you're too skint to buy players or sack the manager, of course.... We've got a CB (Mark Bower) playing at LB, where he's absolutely useless (personally I think Parker should be playing there; if we've got him on loan from you, why not use him in his favoured position?! But that's Todd for ya). Wethers is struggling to keep up now in his old age, although in fairness he can still do a job. Our centre of midfield have been pretty much non-existant since September, and Healey (who we've brought in from Barnsley) hasn't added anything to it. Holmes (on loan from Derby) has done nothing since September, although he's coming back from an injury. Unless you play him in behind the last defender he's pretty much useless, he seems to have lost all his pace and skill. Jermaine Johnson on the right was good to start off with but recently opposition teams have found out what he's about, posted two men marking him all game and he's been rendered useless. Windass is suspended, Graham on loan from Wednesday's been crap and Eddie Johnson who we bought off Man Utd has been ineffective because we just leather the ball up to him for 90 minutes and expect him to collect it, fend off 5 defenders and put it in the top corner. Only plus point has been Doyle at right back and he might have to go back in January because he's on loan from Derby! So much needs changing but Todd knows feck all, basically. It's all gone very stale, we've got the players to be at the business end of this division, but there's no passion or drive at the moment. We need a change. Anyway, RANT OVER! Not looking too good for Yorkshire, no! Wednesday are doing alright I spose, and my 'other' club York are near the play-offs though. I haven't seen the Leeds history thing, what's all that about?

You should keep your eye out in January, if we don't get any back up to Edworthy (even though Jackson is a right back too) then Doyle might have a chance to fight for his place, but if we end up getting a right back then Doyle could be on his way

Believe me if we got him permanently it would make my season (because not much else has gone right for us) but I'll believe it when I see it. We posted a £2 million loss in the summer for the year and because Rhodes, our chairman, is operating on his own with no investors, the money is coming out of his pocket personally. So you can understand we've got very little free income to spend on players. Plus I think that Rhodes must be trying to pay Todd off at the moment, the guy has seriously outstayed his welcome and is damaging the club financially in terms of the amount of fans who are staying away, so any free money he does manage to collect I'd imagine would go into the pot to get rid of him.

I knew Holmes wouldn't do any good for you, hasnt got much pace to take people on although he was great when he was on loan at Swindon last season

Like I say, he's good when you play him behind the right back, he can whip some really decent crosses in, but at the moment because we're not playing well, he's had to come back and defend, which means when he does get the ball it's usually in his own half, in which case he either takes it on and gets tackled, or he hits balls up to the front two which half the time don't get to their intended targets

From what I've seen from Parker after a shaky start he's looked a lot better. He's not got much pace which could be a worry but his positional sense is much better than our usual left backs, he's very committed and passionate, and he knows how to make a good challenge. His lack of pace will unfortunately prevent him from ever being a top top player, but he could do a job for you I think. He's been injured last few games but should be alright to start playing again soon. I wouldn't say no to us extending his contract in January along with Doyle's.

Fair enough.
I might be wrong but I think we might have first dibs on him, part of the deal when we signed him was that we could extend his loan at Xmas if we wanted to.
But that might be over-ridden if you really need him back.
