Bournemouth 0-3 Chesterfield Derek Niven, Colin Larkin and Caleb Folan all got on the scoresheet as Chesterfield thrashed Bournemouth. Niven swept in a half-volley from 20 yards just after the break, but the decisive moment came from Cherries keeper Gareth Stewart's awful mistake.
Stewart rushed out to clear but totally missed his kick to gift Larkin the chance to make it 2-0 on 62 minutes.
Folan rounded the keeper to complete the rout, while Bournemouth's best chance was missed by James Hayter.
The striker misdirected his header after a clever exchange of passes with Lionel Ainsworth.
Bournemouth's unhappy day was compounded by the loss of captain Marcus Browning after just six minutes.
