MK Dons 2-1 Bury Two goals from Izale McLeod earned 10-man MK Dons victory in new boss Martin Allen's first match in charge. The Dons lost keeper Adolfo Baines in the first half for deliberate handball.
McLeod gave the Dons a 59th-minute lead from the spot but Andy Bishop looked to have given Bury a draw when he fired in a late penalty after being fouled.
But McLeod won it when he charged down John Fitzgerald's clearance and then smashed home a terrific half-volley to get Allen's reign off to a dream start.
