You've got Brentford at home next round GT Cheers mate, didn’t even know the draw was today! Going by results and match reports, Brentford are not the team they have been the past few seasons now that Allen has flown the nest but I haven’t seen them yet this so will reserve judgement. I’d rather make it to FA Cup Round 3 than have a run in this to be honest. Now that Notts and Lincoln are out there is not a team left that I am bothered about playing. Maybe Mansfield at a stretch.

How come Mansfield didn't play last night? Loads of randomly selected teams got a ‘bye’ to the next round, which further underlines the pointlessness of this competition! They’ve excluded Conference clubs too (which is probably good for us )

Oh right, thought I couldn't find their result anywhere. It does seem a pointless fixture, only 1,800 at Gillingham last night, but I bet that was one of the biggest attendances that night!

Re: the allocation question, I have no idea - it's a number balancing thing I think. Yeah everyone always wants one of the big teams at home in the cup, bring in some revenue! Sorry mate. I think its just that its called the Johnstones Paint Cup now which makes it even worse. I seriously hope you get to the final coz then I might get a trip to cardiff or wherever they hold it!

'Tis an awful name for the trophy and makes it sound even more tinpot than ever, if that is possible.
The commentator on the radio last night called it 'The JPT' more than once, he deserved a slap for that
