Brighton 1-0 Gillingham Brighton earned their second win in a row thanks to an excellent 66th-minute goal from striker Jake Robinson. Gary Hart should have opened the scoring for Brighton on 27 minutes, but fluffed his shot.
Gillingham's Andrew Crofts went close twice, and Matthew Jarvis and Dean McDonald also had near misses.
But Robinson's superb volley, after he got on the end of Paul Reid's cross, was enough to wrap up all three points for the Seagulls.
