So then after a spectacular rollercoaster end to last season, its conclusion was taken out of hands and left us with alot of WHAT IFS??
The fact we were voted Rivals.Net league 1 fans of the season and dispelled our fellow league one'rs views of us was a good start.
New Manager, who rightly/wrongly has the huge job to fire us up at the first attempt but will he be able to?? our starting 11 is fine, our squad however is too big and contains alot of players i wouldnt mind seeing leave.
Great to see Charlie turn down Notts for our coaching job, shame Frank left but hes gone to work with a mate and also retain a "assistant manager" tag rather than coach.

Welcome on board mate, I'm not going to pretend I don't know who you are mind you! I think we will be top six this season, preseason starts soon - we should get some idea from that. (Especially when we dismantle Leeds at the City Ground )

Welcome cc, good to see you on here. Thanks for Marlon & hope you come back up next season. Thats ok Marlon had togo, he was pathetic for us, it was best for both us and him. Im enjoying watching Tyson which his move paid for, so sounds like we both got a good deal... ... thats if King doesnt repeat his Jamacian stunt [something that regularly happened at Forest btw]. Well i know GT off other boards,so wondered if i knew you thats all. Someone who knows GT maybe or do you only want 1 tree on this board Nah know him from going to Forest, sits near me. welcome aboard mate - be good to get some old fashioned banter on the boards when it all kicks off in August! Cheers, yes will be although you have a good manager shame it took us to rock the boat with him and the Preston board after he was allowed to talk to us and Charlton but not you .

Well I'm glad Boothroyd brought him in, was a gamble on a loan even, but it paid off to a good affect. He has behaved himself relatively well since moving permanently in Jan. I have seen bits & bobs of Nathan Tyson and he has bags of potential IMO, you could have a good goal scorer there, he didn't do too badly with Wycombe.
Do you have any promising youngsters that you think could make the grade btw?

Brought in Clingan last season who was Northern Ireland U21 captain and now going to be involved in the full side for the Euro qualifiers [dubbed the Northern Ireland David Beckham by the Irish press] We are producing several they are just 16/17 atm, however 8 have gone to Italy with the first team so could feature next season! Some off the top of my head: Paddy Gamble, 2nd choice 1st team keeper 17yrs old. Vincent Fernandez, French U19 center half. Alan Power, 16 and runs the U18 and Reserve team midfield. Felix Bastians 17, left winger and Germany U18 captain. Spencer Weir-daley 19, striker, came on as sub 3 times last season [missed alot to injury] and scored 1 goal. John-Paul Pittman, 19 American harewood type of striker. Brendan Maloney, highly rated Irish right back but can play center half.

Well like I said, I hope you come up. £5m.. that was Jermaine Jenas plus a few hundred thousand when he joined spurs. £8m was Reid & Dawson We dont have any debt no more ;D so we xan demand a good fee for the player. with the Harewood leaving/not leaving west ham for £7.5m rumour we could net ourselves £700k-£1.4m ontop of the £500k recieved. We also have one of the richest chairmen in the football league. But we are an example of money doesnt equal success.
