Scunthorpe 4-3 Lincoln City (aet) Ian Baraclough hit a dramatic winner in extra-time to take Scunthorpe through after a seesaw Carling Cup tie. Steve Torpey converted Billy Sharp's cross and David Mulligan stroked in a direct free-kick to put United on top.
But Ryan Amoo sparked Lincoln's comeback, crossing for Mark Stallard to score and then having a shot cleared as far as Scott Kerr who fired them level.
Lee Beevers headed City ahead but Shane Paul levelled from close range before Baraclough won it from 15 yards out.
