Trundle to retain penalty duties Trundle's penalty miss cost Swansea a point last Saturday Swansea City striker Lee Trundle says he has no intention of relinquishing his penalty taking duties. Trundle missed from the spot in last Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Oldham, adding to his two failures last season.
"It hasn't put me off. I will still be taking the next penalty," said Trundle, who has also been backed by boss Kenny Jackett to keep taking the penalties.
Swansea, still looking for their first win of the season, welcome Doncaster to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
Jackett said: "We need to start putting in the performances and pick up some points.
"There have been some good things in our last three performances but we need to be consistent throughout the 90 minutes.
"We need to eradicate the mistakes and to some extent keep going. In every game we've played, we've created a lot of chances and we have to keep doing that."
