I think that's enough possible answers. I'm going for The Masterplan, the final track off their B-sides album named The Masterplan. You should listen to it if you haven't heard it.

Supersonic. Epitomised the band when they really had an edge. No 'Whatever' though? ?

Mine's Whatever, but seeing as it's not on the list I'll go for She's Electric which also isn't on the list so I'll say Don't Look Back in Anger

Sorry, I didn't think Whatever was that good, or She's Electric for that matter. I didn't think they'd gain many votes, although that didn't stop from putting Little by Little on.

Well 2 of the first 3 replies said Whatever ;D I love the orchestral bit at the end. Class Sorry, I didn't think Whatever was that good, or She's Electric for that matter. I didn't think they'd gain many votes, although that didn't stop from putting Little by Little on.

Also I never buy singles, so as it's on no album I've only heard 4 or 5 times, and couldn't recite the worlds all the way like i could with many of the others. I was tempted to do this thread on Blur, but I don't think they're well known enough.

In fact, for me nothing released after Don't Look Back In Anger should even come into the equation. Many of the 'b' sides released in the couple of years were better than anything the band's produced since.

which album is "whatever" on? It was on an EP released at Christmas to bridge the gap between Definitely Maybe and What's The Story, and in the hope of taking the Christmas no. 1 spot (thus the shouting at the end of the tune). Missed out on the number one spot (think it reached no.3), believe East 17's 'Stay' got there instead.

Cigarettes and Alchohol only got to number 8.
