When it's warmer in the toilets than in the office, isn't it? I'm off to do Sudoku for half an hour; maybe I'll actually be able to feel my hands afterwards ![>:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/angry.png)

I don't think they've even got the heating turned on here today ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) I swear it's below the legal requirement... (Incidentally GIAR, find a thermometer - if it's below 16°C in there, you can go home without any consequences; health and safety laws ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png) )

They can't deduct wages from you; it's their fault you "can't work there" - if anything, you could sue them if they did! Might be worth bringing it up casually with your boss one day - "Hey, someone was saying to me the other day that the workplace has to be a minimum temperature for you to work; d'ya know what it is?" And if they say 13, that's only in areas where there's lots of manual labour or a hot environment anyway (e.g. working with machines in a plastic moulding factory) ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

Might get some funny looks for doing that... but then, between the hair, the nekojin desktop pics and my cartoony cat-face stuck to the side of my tower (see my avatar), that's not really anything new!
