Agree 100%. That's what I said to Shippers when I removed my tongue from my cheek! Btw, I like those on your list (except the Smiths who I detest and National due to never having heard of them!!!) You'll love it Stan. They REALLY know how to rock a stadium!! Dublin was superb, second only to the Millennium stadium IMO. Who's supporting them down there - Nickelback? A2V - not JUST soft rock! Some of it is pants I agree. Quite into 50's bee bop at the moment Which proves the point, it's 'horses for courses'. Musical taste is personal, while Bon Jovi ain't my particular cup of tea, I also realise that not everyone shares my likings for Belle & Sebastian, Depeche Mode, The National, Morissey (The Smiths), Radiohead etc....

Sorry for the delay JJ... it is Nickelback... and I'm hoping one or two others... seen as it starts at 2!.... although last time I saw them at MK it was Joan fucking what if god was one of us Osbourne...!!! Poor effort!

Stan - Nickelback were pretty good. There was also a local Irish band who sounded like the Goo Goo Dolls, they were ok. Probs be some local rock group from darn sarf for you.
A2V - Was just thinking the same thing when you mentioned B&S! It was him who got me interested in them. Very nice bloke, and intelligent with it. And knows his music too!!

I like the fact that since we gave up on this being a quiz the thread has quite taken off.

Ain't that the way of things though?
Since when has a thread remained on topic for long? I can understand the BEEB's frustrations!!
