Queen's Pk 0-0 Aberdeen (5-3 pen) Queen's Park's win left the Dons players shocked Third Division amateurs Queen's Park stunned top-flight Aberdeen with a 5-3 penalty shoot-out win at Firhill in the CIS Insurance Cup second round. The Spiders had held on to claim a goalless draw after 120 minutes of football at Partick Thistle's ground.
And Queen's were unfortunate to see Aberdeen goalkeeper Derek Soutar produce a fine second-half save from substitute Rob Bowers.

Billy Stark's side had scored all of their penalties in unusual surroundings after having been forced to move the tie from their Hampden home because of a Rolling Stones concert.
