The latest production from Shane Meadows (This is England, Dead Mans Shoes etc) is a film/documentary due out in Spring this year.
STORY
The character of Le Donk is a builder, rock drummer and roadie played by Paddy Considine.
The film is shot in a documentary style and follows Le Donk on the road with his pregnant girl-friend (played by Olivia Coleman).. At some point in the story, Le Donk takes on roadie duties for the British band, The Arctic Monkeys.
Here's the trailer, looks like it could be pretty funny:

Dead Man's Shoes is the ultimate Meadows film so far. Essentially Taxi Driver set on a council estate! ;D If you like one though you'll like them all; they're all of a similar style, bar 'Once Upon A Time In The Midlands' and I don't think that's in the boxset anyway. Just wait for the scene when he laces the Pot Noodles with acid!! The Pilkington books are a work of genius too! ;D

He should be the biggest actor in the world in terms of kudos, but on the other hand I wouldn't want him to suddenly unavailable for more stuff with Meadows. Similarly Meadows could be a big Hollywood player given the chance, but being a selfish bugger I'm not sure if I want that either! ;D
