This programme really pisses me off and is very bad but I found it funny last night so watched it on Bravo2 or something like that. I personally think that, in a subtle way the programme sensationalises football violence and thats not good. Theres no critique in it whatsoever on firms and the many many negative things. But what really pisses me off about this is the presenter, Danny Dyer...what a fucking twat! With his extreme cockney accent and exaggerating absolutely everything. Last night was Yorkshire and a particularly funny bit was when he went to Hull v Leeds. Now these 2 clubs have more problems than most in this regard but what a nob. He walks around the streets of Hull city centre before the game going on about how scared he is walking around with a London accent in a northern town. Hmmm yeah right, brave man. ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) Then he leaves the ground early and stands outside getting all excited about how its all going to 'kick off.' Then the game finishes, everyone leaves the ground and goes home and nothing really happens (all down to a terrific fence outside the away end apparently) but he makes it sound like he's practically risked his life going to a football game. He really pisses me off but at the same time its quite funny. Don't think I'll watch it again in a hurry though!

Danny Dyer was brilliant in Human Traffic and Severance, but he does come across as a cock in these programmes - mind you, some of the international ones were fucking scary!!

I suppose some of the international ones could be quite insightful but its on practically every day so I'll leave it a week or two and hope he doesn't wind me up so much then. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Whilst I agree that Dyer is a cock I have to say that the programmes themselves are only 'opening peoples' eyes' to events / activities that still take place - but not inside football stadia (apart from on the continent) - and not sensationalising it in any way. It still goes on and has never gone away, more organised if anything - the number of banning orders / pre-match arrests is on the increase.

That bloke's a mockney twat. The programs really open your eyes to this "English disease" though - apparently the virus gets stronger every time someone else catches it! ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)
