And quite a plot spoiler, so anybody wathcing the film....don't watch this!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEOQqnHMSMcSummer has arrived, Loudly sing, Cuckoo! Seeds grow and meadows bloom And the forest springs anew, Sing, Cuckoo! The ewe bleats after the lamb, The cow lows after the calf. The bullock jumps, the billy-goat farts, Merrily sing, Cuckoo! Cuckoo, cuckoo, well you sing, cuckoo; Nor cease you ever now, Sing cuckoo now. Sing, Cuckoo. Sing Cuckoo. Sing cuckoo now!

Take your pick tonight.... Apocalypse Now on Channel 4, Training Day on BBC1, or for those who prefer something a little more offbeat, then why not try The Station Agent on BBC2!!

American History X BBC 2 10:30
Top film about right wing extremism in the American heartlands, with a stark message. Features one bona fide stomach churning scene of racist violence, not for the faint hearted, but a compelling film nonetheless...

REQUIEM FOR A DREAM (BBC2, 12.00am)
One of the very best films of the 00's, Darren Aronofsky's drama tells the tale of four Coney Island residents and the destructive effect that drug addiction has on their lives.
Small time drug dealer Harry, his girlfriend Marion (Jennifer Connelly) and best friend Tyrone see their lives spiral downwards under the shadow of cocaine and heroin. Meanwhile his television obsessed mother (Ellen Burstyn) consumes ever increasing doses of diet pills as she desperately tries to slim down to fit the prized red dress she longs to wear for an appearance on her favourite quiz show.
Forthright, explicit and grim, but still very essential viewing.
