Zidane - a 21st century potrait, 7/10
quite enjoyable, as the reviews say, MEMORISING, 90 minutes following him, with 17 cameras on him all the time!

Sorry Eoin, I have to disagree. I saw 30 minutes of this so-called film, and then had to turn off this pretentious indulgence. I'd rather eat my own fist than watch the enitre 90 minutes!! 1/10 Zidane - a 21st century potrait, 7/10 quite enjoyable, as the reviews say, MEMORISING, 90 minutes following him, with 17 cameras on him all the time!

It's towards the end of the broadcast if you want to skip 15 minutes or so. RADIO GOLD!!! ;D

i've kept a fair few. the guy can come across as a bit of a pretentious twat from time to time (best example being the Borat review), but he knows what he's talking about.
except with lord of the rings...

He detests it. It probably ranks alongside Revolver ('boring, pretentious, directionless, rubbish') and Little Man ('pure evil') in his affections. i enjoyed pirates. preferred the first one, but the second one still had it's moments.
but even to say in jest that it ranks alongside little man is just cruel and unusual!

No link on the site. Bit of a shame. His POTC review was up there with The Da Vinci Code as his premier blockbuster rant of last year.

Right, Rocky Balboa! OK, as much as anything, I was talked and cajoled into seeing this with my 11 year old son on Saturday so like the good bloke I am (?) I went along....with Imp and my 5 year old in tow! As it turned out, I bloody loved the film. It was very good and not what I was expecting. As something of a Rocky Aficionado having seen all the previous installments of this particular franchise (except Rocky 5 on the basis that I heard it was shite) I really thought it would be the same old formula - Rocky beats insurmountable odds to open a can of whoop-ass on some invincible opponent. However, I am happy to say I was wrong. The film centered on Rocky as a widower and the strained relationship between him, his son and his brother-in-law. It was actually quite removed from anything I'd previously seen where Rocky films are concerned. The inevitable fight at the end was awesome and I couldn't help but shout out in the cinema "Come on Rocky!" when he finally got into gear. Wow! Thoroughly "edge of the seat stuff." I have to also say that Imp broke her Rocky cherry and I was really surprised to learn that she loved the film too - I really didn't think she'd enjoy it at all. How wrong was I? Anyway, apart from my 5 year old son sleeping through the opening 1 hour 40 mins, I would have to say this film is worthy of an 8/10 mark (which for me is very very good indeed). And my 11 year old and I couldn't stop nattering about the film on our way back through Kingston afterwards. If you've not watched it yet, go on - you too will be pleasantly surprised. And if you're not on the edge of the seat come the finale, go ask for your money back! I bloody loved it! Rocky! Rocky! Rocky! ;D ;D ;D ;D

snakes on a plane. 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000001/10 utter and total bollocks! why S jackson would even want to put his name to the film let alone actually attempt to act in it is beyond me the guy should feel cheap and ashamed of his actions poor idea, poor story line, and a poor choice of acters as well. there is only 1 half decent part in this film and one good part. the 1/2 decent bit is when the trim young lady and her man are joining the mile high club and you see a bit of tit action. the good part for me was when the 3rd and final link wouldnt work so i didnt end up watching any more. it might have got better at the end you never know, but quite frankly i dont have the heart or the will power to even bother................and after enduring even 2 3rd's of that film im doubting if i have the mental strength to carry on with life (i will say though it has taken me nearly 5 hours to watch that much of if )

No all in all it was a solid 7, i must admit i thought he(rocky) was going to die. Pursuit of happiness - Watched this on the way to Scunthorpe last week. A slow film all the way through for me, not one i enjoyed a great deal. 4/10 Night at the museum - Watched this on the way back from Scunthorpe.....The odd funny moment but not much to write home about. 3/10
