Whitley Bay 1 all against Blyth Spartans at HT.
Local derby in the FA Cup, 2000+ attendance which is about 2000 more than noRmal for the Bay!

Remember going to see my local side Alfreton Town in FA Cup 1st round against Macclesfield 2 years ago, around 2500 attendence, took the to a replay thanks to a 93rd minute equaliser, could have played Hull in the next round

Although I love Leeds, non league is what football is all about mate! To hell with the Prem and all that, grass roots is where it's at. Went down to Villa Park to see the Bay beat Tipton in the Vase final in 2002. Best football day out ever!!

Alfreton Town have been in Conference North in past few seasons, their manager is Gary Mills who used to play for Forest and hes over 40, as well as the assistant and they still play for the club they used to have Ryan France who plays for Hull now, he attracted interest from Coventry and someone else, alright club just needs squad improvements

Am sure it was Alfreton I saw last season get beaten 1-0 (?) at Stafford when I was visiting a couple of lads from here.

Most probably, sounds like them if they lost, they play all in red I think

LOL! Yes, they were all in red with a travelling army of about 30 supporters who made a hell of a lot of noise for so few!! Most probably, sounds like them if they lost, they play all in red I think

Well Stafford finished runner up in that league last season, so it most probably would have been little Alfreton, seem to be a bunch of bottom halfers though

Fisher Athletic beat the met police and will now play Salisbury in the 4th Qualifying round. They really should be able to make it to round one now.
I'm just worried that we might get fisher in round one, which we are more than likely to lose!
C'mon the Fish.

Hmm, I fully expect Spartans to win the replay against Whitley but could be a tough match for them against Trinity. A Conference North match up! Winner of Whitley Bay / Blyth drawn against my non league team Gainsborough Trinity in the 4th QF May pay that game a visit

Alfreton Town got knocked out in the 2nd Qualifying round (I think) by a replay, so the only team thats close to me thats left in it is Matlock Town who have to beat Cambridge City in a replay to face either Witton Albion or Farsley Celtic

Probably different for you Cav, as for most of your life supporting Reading has been like following a non league team.
You can't beat the banter at non league, having a pint and a chat in the cluhouse with the players afterwards...

Whitley Bay won! I think a trip to The Northolme may be in order if it doesn't clash with Forest

I'd be happy for either side to win tbh mate. A replay at the coast would be good! ;D

Certainly would! Blyth are top 3 in the Conf whereas Trinity are mid table so it shows it can be done, although with it being such a local derby form might have gone out the window I'd be happy for either side to win tbh mate. A replay at the coast would be good! ;D
