Had a quick look on this board and couldn't see a thread along the same lines ...so, what is your favourite dish whether it be your mum's roast dinner or something from a restaurant you frequent? Being the indecisive person I am, I've got to say both roast beef and Yorkshire puddings made by my dad and Akbars chicken tikka masala- sexual Yours?

My dad make this utterly fantastic chicken soup - it looks like slightly cloudy water with lumps of chicken in, but it's among the best dishes I've tasted. The best restaurant meal I've had was when I ordered some chicken and miso ramen at Mitsuwa, in god-knows-what-town-it-was a little way from Chicago, IL. Absolutely joygasmically good - though my home-made stuff's not too shabby if I do say so myself

My mum's beef casserole, it's really tender and with dumplings on the top. It makes my Sunday when we have it! And then homemade apple crumble.

(Home for a week soon ;d) My mum's cooking, at times, left a lot to be desired - cold, soggy veg is never a good thing, and neither is pizza where you can't taste anything but the tomato, as some examples. The apple crumble, though, was fantastic ;D

at the moment I really like sausages and mash, we've got a butchers near us and all they do is sausages. Really is the nuts www.englishsausages.com/I also like chicken and chorizo stew, which is quite easy to make and lasts a few days recipes.chef2chef.net/recipe-archive/39/207944.shtmlNow my mother being French always made sure we had good food on the table, good piece of meat etc., she can really do some good stuff. I favorite decadence is pate foie gras - cruel but nice!
