Well that's us "mere mortal teams" jiggered then ain't it?! I suppose it was already ludicrous to dream of a Prem title going to any team other than ManU, Chelscum, L'Arse or (at a pinch) Liddypool!

It'll ruin football if this happens. Us lowly teams should set up on our own too. We'd be in the new premiership then Jules ;D

Just heard your pillock of a chairman Pearson describing it as a great idea & that people will love the idea of travelling out for a weekend. Just the poor fans getting screwed again. All the scummy new owners & chairman are interested is in lining their own pockets. They complain of fixture congestion scrap FA replays but dont mind an extra fixture now. Team strips changing every year ,rises in season ticket prices pricing out true fans. Scudamore should be beaten up dirty grubby money man. Players agents will get ever more obscene wages. Fantastic news. From one fixture abroad to how many ? Plus you can see other clubs in Europe the so called elite starting to copy this. Forget trying to develop leagues abroad. I'm sure the fledgeling A-league,Indian League & Chinese leagues are welcoming this ... not. Fans should boycott all merchandise, games organise protests against the stealing away of our game. Without us these bastards would not have had a 'product' in the first place. An absolute farce leading to a circus. Pathetic excuses. The Premier League is already well known globally it does not need any further exposure. Round up the chairmen Scudamore & his ilk plus the agents lock them in a room & burn them. The already immense divide between the haves & have nots will multiply exponentialy. Remember the Premiership was supposed to improve the England NT, bring in more revenue for the whole pyramid. Real sucess story so far isn't it. Destroyed all the traditions of football in this country ,eliminated the Cup Winners Cup & UEFA cup turned the European Cup into a joke. Belittling international football as the peak of the football experience. Gold now wittering on about how great an idea it is. Sure the scumbag is seeing how many extra noughts he can add to his account .

People are getting carried away. It's an awful idea, I'll say that. Supposing it was happening now and we were drawn against Man U whilst Birmingham were drawn against Derby, it wouldn't be fair for the relegation battle. And there would be a lack of enthusiasm for Brum v Derby. And it's an English league, it should be played in England. It is all for commercialism and money. At the same time it's one game a season, it's not like people will lose the ability to watch their team.

the money thats gonna be spent by the FA on transporting the 20 squads and their officials to the Far East and Australia would have saved Bournemouth from administration which has almost certainly relegated them to League 2
its disgraceful

What if some teams are relying on this last fixture to avoid relegation or qualify for Europe. Who you get drawn against could be hugely unfair. If foreigners want to watch our games then switch on a tv or travel here.
