Teddy Sheringham, excellent range of passing, technically gifted, astute in front of goal, holds the ball up well, and inspires the players to perform, a great role model, and consistently scored on a prolific basis during his time with Tottenham.

Sol Campbell, perhaps.
Anyway, I'm off for a tour of duty in Antartica. I'll see if anyone disagrees when I return.

It has got to be David Ginola.
Klinsmann, Sheringham scored goals a-plenty, Campbell held together a dreadful defence but Ginola could create something out of nothing.
At times when let's face it the Spurs side was awful we could get Ginola the ball and something would happen.
We should thank Gerard Houllier really. If he hadn't used Ginola as a scapegoat that time for that one bad cross then his international reputation might have taken off and he might have graced the turf of the Nou camp or the Bernabaeu instead of St James Park and the Lane.
1999 PFA Players' Player of the Year says it all really.
