Hearts will be happy but heads will be wondering if they missed out on someone else I reckon He wasn't at Hearts?

I think that's the only way Keegan would be allowed back - if the fans knew in the long term they would get Shearer.

Strange one this - you have 2 good managers in Houllier & Deschamp who both said they were interested and they go for a bloke who has been completely out of the game for 3 years or more??

Ashley's done this to get the support of the fans for himself, I wonder how much he actually expects Keegan to succeed.

I for one is very pleased to see Keegan back in the game, he is a great character and totally honest and Newcastle will play good football, but still be defensively inept.
Over the last 50-years KK has been their most successfull manager and has the passion which I like to see.
