I reckon with Glenn in charge (he says it how it is i.e. no injury excuses) and with some class players and some good up and coming young ons, the future is bright for Newcastle. Look at the spine of the team

and then add the likes of Moore, Titus, Ramage, Dyer, Bowyer, Emre, Nzogbia, Luque etc and with hopefully some top class signings like a Van Nistelrooy Bridge Chimbonda Torress whoever then we can look forward to a challenge for CL football for the year after next. Also providing we win our 2 legged Intertoto cup clash against (so called) lesser opposition then we should be looking at getting at least to the smi finals of the uefa and with a bit of luck we may finally end our trophy jinx by winning the Carling cup. I finally also hope we get rid of Ameobi Faye Carr Boumsong babayaro Carr. Whatever happens the future looks far better thanit did with Grame in charge. Also remember we finished 3rd in the table if you start the league season when Roeder took charge. So the omens are good but we have all got to keep our feet on the ground and also hope that Mark Lawencen predicts we get beat in more matches than he expects us to win.
