The Pitching Course This part of the practise course is open to the elements and is designed to test player's short games. The ball will start 120yards from the pin - the aim being to get it as close to the pin as possible. Picture 3- Pitching A single picture will be posted up and players simply enter 2 captions and I will mark the entries in terms of how close to the pin players pitch their approaches. The winner will be the player with the shotest average distance from the pin from their two pitches
