If you could possess one skill that you currently don’t have, what would it be? I’m talking real skills not like being able to fly or walk on water.
I would love to be able to sing or play guitar or bass really well. But if I only had the choice of one, it would probably be to have the skill to play football at Premier League and International level, that would be amazing.

The football would be nice, but I'm going with the guitar suggestion. Actually no, wait. I'd like to be able to have musical inspiration as well as lyrical inspiration. I can find a decent guitarist, technically speaking, but to actually have a gift for composition... that would be priceless to me... |

Similar to jh, I would like to be able to write songs - I'm quite a good singer, and I would also like to play acoustic guitar too  |

I'm basically happy with the skills I already have, but what I'd really like is to be more consistent with my writing. Some days, I'll start and the words will just flow, creating the most beautifully vivid mental images and manipulating emotions to my every whim, but other days the words just won't come at all, or when they do they sound horribly clumsy and forced.
If I could write at my peak all the time, I could be a best-selling novellist - I know that's blowing my own trumpet, but I honestly believe it's true.

Sensible suggestion now....I'd like to be able to paint better. I paint now but mainly large modernist canvases. I wish I could paint people and lanscapes.
