Frank Lampard has had his appeal for wrongful dismissal upheld by the Football Association.
At a regulatory commission hearing today, it was judged that his red card received for violent conduct at West Ham on Saturday should not have been given, and his three-match domestic suspension has now been withdrawn.
This means that Lampard will now be available for the FA Cup tie with Barnsley on Saturday, as well as Premier League fixtures against Derby County and Sunderland.

Just underlines what a joke the FA are.
Where is the consistency?? As long as the decisions are consistant there is not really any room for complaint. Compare this to Alidiareriarereireires red the other week - he got a 3 game ban - extended to four cos the FA thought Boro's appeal was 'frivolous'. Lampard gets a red, Chelsea appeal, red card rescinded....

It should have been upheld. He deliberately kicked out as he got up, the red card was for that not the push

it was for what was seen, and that was the push.
To be honest either both needed a card or no one needed it.
handbags there though, was not a push and certainly not "violent conduct"
