It's all good. What Chelsea lacked at times last season, wingers...I'm no fan of the diamond and even less of Ballack, who to be honest is no better than Lampard, Essien, Mikel or Makelele..
But to be fair he's at least more use than Boulrahouz he really is bad..I don't see why Chelsea have loaned him to Sevilla, they should have sold him or stuck him on free transfer or released him..he really is that bad.
When Terry or Carvahlo were injured last season Mourinho used Essien or Diarra instead of using Boulrahouz who is supposed to be a top defender..
So in conclusion..I'm glad Chelsea got Ben Haim on Free Transfer and hopefully he'll be seen as a direct replacement of Boulrahouz, but about 20 times more useful and is playable.
I think I've finished my little rant now...
So I'll put up my Chelsea XI with Substitutes...
Playing a 4-3-3
Cech
Ferreira Terry Carvahlo A Cole
Essien Lampard J Cole
Kalou Drogba Robben
Subs
Cudicini
W-Philips
Malouda
Ben Haim
Pizarro
Looking ahead to the new season, Mourinho sent a warning to midfielder Michael Ballack, saying he is looking to ditch the diamond formation which best suits the German star.
"I want to go back to wingers and play attacking football," Mourinho explained. "The objective of having players like Robben, Cole, Malouda and Kalou is because we want to give width to our game, to give speed, to give creativity.
"I don't want to play football with a diamond any more.
"So I don't think it will be easy for Ballack. But he's a top player, a top personality and I think he's the kind of guy ready to fight for a place."
