Having two nephews, I can honestly say that I've grown accustomed to that sound, and am generally unaffected by it. Babies screaming really irritate me though.

hmmmmmmmmmm cant say i have met all that many goths that are a little ray of sunshine. and newbury is bloody full of em Put simply, most of those are just twats that've hijacked it for the sake of fashion and "being different" - which, ironically, they aren't. They also have no idea what goth actually is. 'Proper' goth is just about being yourself and expressing your mood - if you're depressed, you'll probably dress in black. Other times, you'll be decked out like a raver, and other times you'll be pretty neutral. Goth clubs frequently have people decked out in neon colours and even fairy wings! It's like those twats who claim they're heavy metal fans because they've got a Slipknot album - waaaaaaaay off-target! Being into the goth scene myself, I'd be grateful if you didn't lump us into the same group as those rejects ;D
