Guess you'll have to decide which of the two brings you less misery!! If you skip the football for a season then you can always come back the following year for the League One Play-Off Final campaign!! I used to work a one evening a week and weekend mornings (till 1pm), in the newsagent at the Leeds Marriott; you'd have loved it, the England cricket team and the C4/Sky crews all used to stop there. I saw the likes of Mark Butcher (the day he made his 173 n.o. against the Aussies), Atherton, Gower, Mark Nicholas etc.... Lucky bugger! However, I either have to give up cricket or football to enable my self to continue doing something I love or continue doing something I love. It's a toughie

How do I feel after watching Ipswich Town? Either 1. elated or 2. miserable How do I feel after playing cricket? 1. WOOOH! I played well or 2. Gah! My knee again! Damn it! I like them both! But you'll be in League 2 by then...

Yorkshire's a special place luvvie! It would explain the bird flu on Bernard Matthew's farm! They're special inbreds, they're from Yorkshire! I'm sure it is... This hotel in Watford had leaflets for Suffolk and Norfolk in it! What is there to do in Suffolk and Norfolk, apart from serial killers, catching bird flu and suddenly falling in love with a seagull/your sister or brother?

Mansfield is reasonable but the stewards are a bit intimidating, they look like they're gonna throw you out for lookin' at them

Molineux Wolves overall was another cracking day out, despite losing again! Bad points: The away allocation was a strip of seats 10 deep down the whole length of the pitch so it was really hard to get an atmosphere going. The toilets were shocking, they were way too small (people were pissing in the sinks at half time ) and they were dirty. The food was quite expensive too. Having to wait for a police escort in and out of Wolverhampton was a bit annoying too. And being herded into the ground was unnecessary but quite funny. Although on the good side... there was loads of legroom compared to the kop at ER, and most of the Wolves fans seemed decent enough. The stewards were pretty friendly, and we weren't asked to sit down at all. Also there was a good atmosphere created by the home fans (probably the best home fans I've seen), and there was some great banter. I think that if a team only brought a small number of away fans the atmsosphere could be quite poor though. I'd give it 8 out of 10

Southampton: Surprisingly great view from Row NN, goodish legroom although the stewards telling us to sit down ignoring all the Saints fans standing up next to us was annoying, I was restrained from standing up by my dad I'd say it's a good ground to go to and I would recommend it

the standing up thing is there for a reason for a club 2 pass the safety certificate, fans HAVE 2 remained seated but the clubs allow exceptions at exciting moments. i know stewards basically ignore if for home fans......... but thats y its how it is ! due to the potential ' domino effect ' that COULD happen
saints was a nice day out nice 2 see this season their fans actually turned up

Selhurst Park 2-0 defeat but I had a good day nonetheless. Bad points: We were forced into the Prince George pub which was a right dump and was absolutely packed so instead of staying in there we went to the local offy and got our alcohol that way! Concourse is tiny and my mate had a burger which was so under cooked it had a bit of a green glow to it lol. Beer in the ground was £3 for a bottle (I think) and apparently it tasted like sh!t but we managed to smuggle some booze from the afore mentioned offy in anyway. The seats are an absolute joke, made from wood and aren't very sturdy when you're standing on the back of one of them for 90 minutes after having a few too many to drink. Home fans were poor to be fair and there is a slightly obstructed view from the away end. And it's in an absolute dump of an area Good points: Can get a good atmosphere going in the tightly packed away end. Stewards were great, never told us to get off the back of the seats once. You get to graffiti on the wall at the back of the stand! Erm can't think of any more lol
