From BBC...
Cardiff City will sign Arsenal goalkeeper Mark Howard when his Gunners contract runs out on 1 July.
Howard, 19, has passed his medical at Ninian Park and agreed personal terms, having been told his Highbury deal would not be renewed.
The Londoner, placed on loan to Falkirk last season, replaces reserve keeper Martyn Margetson, released by Cardiff.
"He is a young and ambitious player of high quality who has grown at Arsenal," owner Sam Hammam told the Cardiff site.
"He found it hard to break into the first team, but has benefited from learning his trade with some of the best players in the world.
"He has also had full match experience in the Scottish Premier League, playing their last eight games as first-choice keeper.
"He comes to us highly recommended and is the sort of player we are looking to bring in to improve our squad."
Former Wales stopper Margetson has been linked with a possible return to Cardiff as goalkeeping coach, following George Wood's exit from the role at the club.
Howard's capture follows Dave Jones' signing of Glenn Loovens, and the securing of a deal to bring Kevin McNaughton to Ninian Park when his Aberdeen contract expires.

Hopefully we'll keep hold of Alexander, last season was by far the best he's played since joining us, and Margetson is staying on as the new goalkeeping coach but will provide cover as 3rd choice keeper if needed and be paid on a match to match basis
