Well Elm Park is only about 1.5 miles from the city centre. And the city center is spreading out so the distance becomes less all the time. Sure but if it wasn't all about money ( ) then usually if open space is lost then provision has to be made in the locality at least. not very interesting technical point. From the masterplans I've seen the redevelopment of the Ninian site is not exactly groundbreaking... but it's not the most desirable bit of Cardiff anyway

It is not even filling up at the moment what will happen if we get relegated?

It is not even filling up at the moment what will happen if we get relegated? But we are sold out each week and have a waiting list for season tickets so the empty seats must be people who have already paid and just don't turn up?

Coventry don't own their stadium...and nor do a bank or loan company....the council do...coventry rent it from them. Which is a problem in itself because the club don't get any revenue from food and drink sales.
I actually feel for Coventry...local rivalry aside. They have been through a very rough time off the pitch for ages...the takeover has been on off on off on off and I think the club has tried to put this off as long as possible. They are clearly being forced into it and I hope the takeover comes to a quick resolution before the 10 days are up. Good luck.

Good luck. you dont own the Walkers....yet?? no we don't and I never said we did...but we are in the very slow process of buying it from an American bank. The point I was making was that they rent it from the council who as landlords receive money from catering and the general events which are held at the ground in the week and govern what happens with it. Our stadium is a noose around our neck but 1 day it may become an asset. It just makes the issue slightly different...the massive overheads of building the thing are no problem but Coventry are suffering from the long term management of it...particularly when their home support is so low.
