rose is not longer at leeds.... I know Mort. Just to show how the Leeds fans must be so embittered with the clown Ridsdale. Taiwo & Woods are now at Chelsea along with Gordon. All products of the Leeds academy . No wonder they are shedding tears. Watford are rumoured to be in for Gosling Pilgrim fans by the way. He impressed AB in the FA Cup game last year when the clown Bouazza scored & kissed the badge.... yuck. Brazil have thrashed NZ 7-0 with the fastest goal in a FIFA tournament timed at 9 seconds. Togo drew 1-1 with Costa Rica & Peru beat the hosts 1-0 ( no match fixing involved this time ;D) . Highlights ought to be up on the website in a bit for those interested in the future progression of international football .... which means no progression for the England NT whose technical ability is still sorely lacking. Wilkinson ... Taylor .... etc etc

Yeah (he's a shameless hussy can't remember the lads name a striker I think) & they also pinched one each from Oldham (Philliskirk good Lancastrian name) & another kid from Bristol Rovers who will rot in the reserves & the when they reach 23 decide they should up sticks.
Cradle snatchers the lot of them Manure, Liverpool, Woolwich ,Tottenham etc etc. Shows how well their own multi-million pound academies are doing.

Tis true. Rovers are a nursery club it seems two in two years. Last year we lost O'Cearuill to Woolwich(never heard of again presumed MIA) & Forrester( spits on the ground) to Villa. Whats the point of having an academy ? Sinclair would be a good bet for a loan. Looked superb for the Pilgrims last season & was their best player against us in the FA Cup. AB is looking at Gosling (permanent £1.5M) & Dong/Eagles from Manure.

i think o'cearuill is going on loan somewhere £1.5 million

1.5M would be fair for an unproven player who has potential. Smith & McAnuff are likely to miss games & with McNamee & Campana as back ups AB wants to strengthen. McNamee is too inconsistent (was fantastic against the Gills probably his level) & Campana (ex England u15 u17) is still developing though he looks a good prospect too for next season. I'd love to see O'Cearuill go to Luton. ;D Badly advised feckless youth.

Great news from the u17Cup. England beat the favourites ! They defeated or more precisely the Gooners did .Goals from Henri Lansbury & an injury time winner from Jordan Spence (pinched by Arsenal from West Ham) sealed a win. Brazil had banged in 13 goals before this 1 6-0 win over NZ & 7-1 triumph over North Korea. The win puts England as one of the favourites to win the title. Other favourites have been struggling. France have lost 2-1 to Nigeria & been held 1-1 by Haiti & are on the verge of an exit. Germany have had a tough time with a 3-3 draw against a disinctly non South American football style from Columbia & scraped past Ghana 3-2 led by Bayern starlet Toni Kroos & diminutive Sasha Bigalke. Argentina drew against Syria 0-0 while Spain look to be cruising through. Argentina are 1-0 up though on Spain & are improving game by game. In another upset Tajikstan defeated a highly rated US team, who now look certain to be knocked out. Tunisia are through in that group. Standings at present: Groups Group A P-W-D-L--GF--GA-Pts Peru 3-2-1-0--2--0--7 C Rica 3-1-1-1--3--2--4 Korea S 3-1-0-2--2--4--3 Togo 3-0-2-1--2--3--2 Group B P-W-D-L--GF--GA-Pts England 3-2-1-0--8--2--7 Brazil 3-2-0-1-14--3-6 Korea DP 3-1-1-1--3--7-4 NZ 3-0-0-3--0-13- 0 Group C P-W-D-L--GF--GA--Pts Spain 2-2-0-0---6--3--6 Argentina 2-1-1-0---4--1--4 Syria 2-0-1-1---1--2--1 Honduras 2-0-0-2---3--8--0 Group D P W D L GF GA Pts Nigeria 2 2 0 0 5 1 6 Japan 2 1 0 1 3 4 3 France 2 0 1 1 2 3 1 Haiti 2 0 1 1 2 4 1 Group E Team P W D L GF GA Pts Tunisia 2 2 0 0 7 3 6 Tajikistan 2 1 0 1 4 4 3 Belgium 2 1 0 1 3 4 3 USA 2 0 0 2 4 7 0 Group F P W D L GF GA Pts Colombia 2 1 1 0 8 3 4 Germany 2 1 1 0 6 5 4 Ghana 2 1 0 1 6 4 3 T&Tobago 2 0 0 2 1 9 0

Okay the fun begins with the round of 16 : England take on Syria tomorrow.
Second results so far: Spain eased past N.Korea 3-0 led ably byu young superstar Bojan Krkic & Fran Merida.
France needed extra time to see off Tunisia 3-1 & likewise Peru who beat Tajikstan 5-4 in a penalty shoot out after a 1-1 draw.
Brazil the favourites are out beaten 1-0 by Ghana. The goal was an absolute howler from the goalkeeper (no surprises there then) but its still uncertain if the entire ball crossed the line.
France now take on Spain & Ghana face Peru.
Other matches tomorrow see Argentina take on Costar Rica , Nigeria face Columbia & Germany take on the USA.

Arsenal youngsters Henri Lansbury & Rhys Murphy have really stolen the show along with Nathan Porrit of Middlesborough. Doubt if Lansbury or Muprhy will get much of a chance under Wenger though.

Well the QFs are half complete. Spain defeated France after 1-1 in normal time with a 5-4 win on penalties. Damien Le Tallec (Anthonys younger brother) put the French ahead only for Jordi to equalise in the second half. Ghana defeated Peru comfortably with a 2-0 triumph in Changwon with Sadick Adams showing the virtue of scoring in first half injury time to demoralise the Peruvians aka as Tottenham. Osei added a second on 53 minutes to kill the tie.

Two poor results today. Nigeria defeated Argentina relying on their sheer physicality & a dubious penalty. Remembering the situation at Ipswich with their ex Nigerian star( can't remember the name offhand) & other players akes you wonder if these are all u17. It was the clash of the two old foes again. England took on Germany & predictably lost. 4-1 too. Rhys Murphy tallied but Germany led by midfield maestro Toni Kroos outplayed & outmuscled them. So the semis see Spain take on Ghana & Nigeria take on Germany. Disappointingly no South American representation.
