prelimary round draw click hereThe FA Cup sponsored by E.ON Extra Preliminary Round Saturday 19 August 2006 Winning club receives £500 Jarrow Roofing Boldon CAFC caused the biggest upset of the FA Cup extra-preliminary round with a 5-2 win over Billingham Synthonia. The Roofers raised the roof at New Road with two goals from Craig Nelson in the opening seven minutes. Billingham managed to get back on level terms through goals from Lee Flanagan and David Wells before Jarrow struck three times through Paul Chow twice and a Craig Russell penalty to secure a famous win. St Blazey progressed through at the expense of Bodmin Town with a Steve Ovens goal proving to be decisive for the Cornishmen. Hertfordshire club Oxhey Jets flew into the next round and recorded their first ever FA Cup win after a 3-0 victory over Concord Rangers. Paul Turner got on the score-sheet twice and Chris Ingham also found the net in a historic game. Bedfordshire’s Wootton Blue Cross defeated Buckinghamshire’s Holmer Green 3-1 at Watchet Lane while Tow Law Town were held to a draw against St Helens Town

Anyone got local village teams to cheer on in these qualifying rounds then? ALVECHURCH vs Bedworth Utd. Would have liked to go to that one, but I'm at a music festival in Redditch. Would have been good to see two non-league teams battle it out in the FA Cup!
