teams play each other 3 times at least either 2 at home 1 away & vice versa after 33 league games the league splits which is a good idea so if iverness caley are fighting relegation they will face somebody in the bottom 6. If the mighty gers played for instance hearts yesterday at home they will play them away next then home and then if hearts finish in top 6 we will play hearts away in the top six split.

Cheers for that - it's always something I've wondered about - but could never be arsed to look it up!

...sounds confusing towards the end of the season! It sounds incestuous. How many times shall we play the same team in the league? I know let's make it 4 times, if they meet in the cup they'll know practically everything there is to know about each other. They'll be almost family! Oh, and make the league split up towards the end, so that the gulf between top and bottom never narrows down. Never have there been more than 4 competitive teams in an SPL season.
