After last nights shambles what are Palace fans views on him? i always thought he was the wrong choice as our new manager(wanted Mike Newell myself) his signings are mediorcre at best(Cort & Scowie excepted) his tactics poor and the long ball football rubbish. I enclose a message i posted on the BBC Board earlier Last Night's game where do i start? Firstly Southampton throughly deserved to win they played excellent passing football and could indeed should have won by more Last night was one of the most abject gutless passionless performances i have seen in all the years i have supported Palace no wonder our fans went on the pitch to vent thier anger at the players. Peter Taylor anyone who has read my threads on 606 will know that i did not have a great opinion of him as a manager(as a player he was a hero) a view that was shared by friends who have had to endure his mindnumbing negative tactits at Southend, Leicester and even Hull. I know that only 7 games have gone but 7 rubbish games 3 of which we managed to win has convinced me that we have made a huge mistake in appointing him. So Simon don't make the mistake you made in 2000-2001 with Alan Smith when he should have gone well before Christmas or later with Steve Kember(although that season ended brilliantly with Dowie) and get rid of Taylor now or we could be playing in league one next season that's how desperate i feel. Going to Norwich on Saturday though

Entertainment isn't in PT's vocabulary. Once you get a goal, 11 men behind the ball. Even when you're drawing or losing, he keeps everyone back at corners etc.

Posted this a year ago nothing has changed Taylor Out He surely cant have long left. The thing is the players we have are pretty decent imo they are just set up wrong constantly, and look like they are always playing with shackles on because of Taylor's negativity. Who else would you want in IEL??

I don't think PT will be our manager for much longer than a couple of months at most. We've got some tricky games coming up against Norwich and Sheffield United, and I think that if results don't go our way, he could be out very soon.
We've been linked to Neil Warnock, and I know that Palace fans as a whole are split right down the middle as to whether we should have him or not. I personally would quite like to see him at Selhurst, he's a decent manager, and he stands up for his club.

To be honest i'm not sure about Warnock although i believe he's better than Taylor, i would still like to see Mike Newell who i really rate but obviously following his spat with SJ that won't happen Paul Jewell would be the best of those currently out of work but i am sure he will get a far bigger job than us so i would like to see a younger manager what about "Mad Dog" who has something to prove following his shabby treatment at Leicester

Get him out now.
I have had enough of this. A promising start and then we slip as I knew we would. We should be fighting for the play offs this year and looking down on teams, not up on them.
The guy is clueless, give him some money and he cannot get results. He does well on low budget but not for us.
I want him gone.
Our strikers are shit too. Cost us four points in the last two games because they couldnt hit a barn door
