Now that Johnson has gone (arguably one of the league's best players, despite what I've said about him), how do you think your team will cope, and what are your expectations for the coming season?

i would say il be happy if we had a decnt team which was collected and work as a team opossed to indivdual talent...dont mind if we dont go up...because we would only go up by luck..and thats not something you have in the premiership lest build for the future not for the premiership...if we do a reading and have a convienceing season which looks like it has a chance in ther preiemiers then il be very happy and surprised

Losing AJ was a blow, but he did us a service staying last season and will always be well thought of. We need a 30 goal per season replacement and if we get that then I will be confident of a promotion push. I think Peter Taylor likes to play football the right way and that will suit us. The long ball hoof style under Dowie just didn't work. The signing of Kennedy highlights the intention to bring our midfield into the game and that is pleasing. As always being a Palace fan we expect success but invariably are let down, hopefully under Taylor this will change. Let the rollacoaster ride begin

I think most Leeds fans are going to be very dissapointed by the end of the season.

I sincerely hope that both Palace and Leeds are playing Premiership football next season and wish you all the best ( apart from Sunday 13th August and Saturday 10th February )
